Welcome to the very first edition of the APSAE Newsletter—and to the official launch of a new platform dedicated to strengthening association leadership across Asia-Pacific.

For too long, association leaders in this region have been navigating increasingly complex challenges alone. From sustaining member engagement across diverse and hybrid communities, to managing volunteer capacity constraints, to responding to geopolitical and economic uncertainty, and building ethical non-dues revenue models—the expectations on associations have never been higher.

Yet the conversations, tools, and solutions remain too fragmented.

APSAE was created to change that.

We are a platform built by association professionals, for association professionals—designed to connect leadership across borders, share practical experience, and elevate how associations operate, collaborate, and grow across Asia-Pacific. Our foundation is simple: no association should have to solve today’s challenges in isolation.

We are proud to launch APSAE in Singapore—a global hub for collaboration and innovation, where East meets West in one of the world’s most dynamic meetings destinations. It is here, at the iconic Marina Bay Sands, that we will host the inaugural APSAE Summit on 24–25 July 2026.

This Summit is more than an event. It is the first milestone of our community in action. It will bring together association leaders from across Asia-Pacific to share insights, confront shared challenges, and shape the future of our sector together.

This newsletter will serve as your monthly compass—offering sector insights, leadership perspectives, and early access to APSAE initiatives designed to support your work and strengthen your impact.

Whether you lead a national association, a regional federation, or a specialist society, APSAE exists to support you—and to connect you with peers facing the same questions, challenges, and opportunities.

The future of associations in Asia-Pacific will not be built in isolation. It will be built in collaboration.

I look forward to welcoming you to Singapore in July 2026, and to shaping this journey together.
