APSAE Summit 2026 to Launch in Singapore, Marking a New Era for Association Leadership Across Asia Pacific
Singapore | 21 May 2026
At a time when Asia Pacific is powering more than half of global economic growth, the region’s associations, industries, and professional communities are becoming increasingly influential in shaping the future of global collaboration and sector advancement. The Asia Pacific Society of Association Executives (APSAE) will officially launch at the APSAE Summit 2026, taking place on 24–25 July 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, bringing together senior association leaders, industry partners, and ecosystem stakeholders from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Positioned as a defining milestone for the association sector in APAC, APSAE aims to become the leading regional platform advancing association leadership excellence, collaboration, innovation, and strategic growth across one of the world’s fastest-evolving regions.
At a time when Asia Pacific is experiencing rapid economic expansion, accelerating digital transformation, and growing global influence, the association sector is entering a critical new phase. Yet despite the scale and diversity of the region, there has been no dedicated regional body focused exclusively on empowering association executives, advancing regional best practices, and strengthening cross-border collaboration among association leaders.
APSAE has been created to address that gap.
With a vision “to establish Asia Pacific as a global model for association leadership excellence,” APSAE seeks to elevate leadership capability, foster cross-regional collaboration, develop APAC-focused insights, and drive innovation across associations that shape industries and communities.
“Asia Pacific is no longer simply participating in the global association landscape — it is helping shape its future,” said Prasant Saha, President of APSAE. “The launch of APSAE represents an important step toward building a stronger regional ecosystem where association leaders can collaborate, learn from one another, and collectively elevate the impact of associations across APAC.”
Often compared to the role played by leading bodies such as in the United States and in Europe, APSAE aspires to become the definitive regional authority for association excellence in Asia Pacific by 2028.
The inaugural APSAE Summit 2026 will convene approximately 100–150 senior association leaders representing countries across the region, including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Macau.
Designed specifically for the APAC association ecosystem, the summit will focus on the unique challenges, opportunities, and growth dynamics shaping associations in the region today.
Key themes include:
- The Future of Associations in Asia
- From Member Engagement to Member Obsession
- AI & Digital Transformation in Associations
- Future Trends Shaping Associations
- MICE & Associations as Drivers of Industry Growth
- Building Sustainable Association Models
- Social Impact & Community Leadership
The summit will also feature executive masterclasses, APAC-focused case studies, strategic networking experiences, research-led discussions, and collaborative dialogue designed to strengthen regional cooperation among association leaders.
Confirmed speakers include:
Amitendu Palit
Jessy Lee

Steven Yeo
The launch comes amid increasing recognition of the economic and societal impact associations create across industries, professions, research, healthcare, technology, trade, education, and community development. As organizations navigate AI disruption, shifting membership expectations, leadership transitions, and growing demands for measurable impact, the need for stronger regional collaboration and executive capability has become increasingly urgent.
APSAE aims to serve as both a leadership platform and a neutral regional body that enables association executives to exchange insights, access education, build partnerships, and collectively shape the future of the sector in Asia Pacific.
Registration for APSAE Summit 2026, partnership opportunities, and founding membership expressions of interest are now open.
