Guiding APSAE’s Vision Across Asia Pacific
The APSAE Advisory Board plays a critical role in shaping the strategic direction, integrity, and regional relevance of the Asia Pacific Society of Association Executives.
Comprising respected leaders from across the APAC association ecosystem, the Advisory Board provides guidance, insight, and stewardship to ensure APSAE remains aligned with its mission and values.
PURPOSE OF THE ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board exists to support APSAE by:
Providing strategic guidance on regional priorities and long-term direction
Ensuring APSAE’s initiatives remain relevant across diverse APAC markets
Strengthening credibility through experienced leadership and perspective
Acting as ambassadors for APSAE within regional and global networks
The Advisory Board does not manage day-to-day operations. Its role is advisory, strategic, and values-driven.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Members of the APSAE Advisory Board contribute by:
Advising on APSAE’s vision, mission, and strategic roadmap
Guiding the development of research, leadership programs, and events
Offering insights into emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the region
Supporting partnerships with associations, institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders
Upholding APSAE’s principles of neutrality, integrity, and inclusivity
WHO SERVES ON THE ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board is composed of senior leaders representing the breadth and diversity of the APAC association landscape, including:
Association Presidents, CEOs, and Executive Directors
Leaders of national and regional federations
Former association executives and sector experts
Senior representatives from knowledge and research institutions
Leaders with experience across multiple APAC markets
Appointments are made with careful consideration to ensure geographic, sectoral, and experiential balance.
TERM & ENGAGEMENT
Advisory Board members typically serve fixed terms, with the possibility of renewal
Engagement includes periodic strategic discussions, consultations, and participation in key APSAE initiatives
Meetings may be held virtually and in-person, aligned with APSAE events and milestones
COMMITMENT TO NEUTRALITY & INTEGRITY
Advisory Board members serve in a personal, non-representative capacity and are expected to act in the best interests of APSAE and the broader APAC association community.
This ensures:
- No commercial influence
- No conflict of interest
- Independent, region-focused guidance
BUILDING THE FOUNDING ADVISORY BOARD
APSAE is currently establishing its Founding Advisory Board in preparation for the Society’s official launch in 2026.
Founding Advisory Board members will play a unique role in:
Shaping APSAE’s early structures and priorities
Supporting the inaugural APSAE Summit
Laying the foundation for long-term regional impact
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Senior leaders interested in contributing to APSAE’s mission through the Advisory Board are invited to express their interest.
